Eye exams assess vision-how well you see-but also how well your eyes work together as a team, and the health of the eyes inside and out - Think of it as a physical for your eyes.

For children, we test the need for glasses as well as:

We can also assess the need for further evaluation for binocular vision problems or perceptual issues.
An eye exam could uncover anything from a minor deficiency of the tears to major eye diseases or disorders like glaucoma or retinal detachments. Eye exams can even detect signs of problems elsewhere in the body; such as diabetes, high blood pressure and brain tumors.
We recommend that everyone should get a general check up at least once every two years. For seniors, children, contact lenses wearers or anyone with eye health issues we recommend that you come in annually to see your Optometrist.
